With an on-going commitment to enhancing its digital solutions offerings for supply chain partners and driving forward the digitalization of the textile value chain, Lenzing recently announced the expansion of its Digital Hangtag offering to the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ brand. The expansion builds on the success of the TENCEL™ Digital Hangtag, launched in December 2021 to positive feedback from brands and retailers.
As with paper hangtags, the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag draws the attention of consumers to the brand at a glance. By hovering over the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ word mark on a retailer’s site, consumers will be directed to Lenzing’s own website, where they can learn more about the brand’s heritage of responsible production and full fiber portfolio[1].
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag helps to support businesses in advocating for responsibly-made fashion and contributing to creating a more sustainable industry. It also allows licensed customers to promote products made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers on their websites, helping them to enhance brand recognition while ensuring consumers make conscious purchase decisions.
“The TENCEL™ Digital Hangtag has been a great success with over a few dozens of use cases from brand partners internationally,” said Vincent Leung, Head of Global Digital Brand Marketing at Lenzing. “Building on this success, I am delighted to announce that the newly developed LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag is now also live for applications. This is another natural step for us to empower co-branding partners through our digital innovations, driving responsible practices together both offline and online.”
Lenzing’s customers now can apply for the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag via the Lenzing E-Branding Service as a part of the Marketing License and Product License application for online product advertising. Established in 2018, the Lenzing E-Branding Service delivers value-adding offerings like Digital Hangtag to brand partners across fashion and textile sectors, complementing other services such as fabric certification, license application and branding material support. The platform also enables co-branding collaboration which supports value chain transparency and protects the brand portfolio of Lenzing and its partners.
Brands and retailers such as Soft Rebels and Esmé studios have already begun to implement the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag, inspiring mindful purchasing amongst consumers, while Canadian brand Ayrtight Clothing has applied the feature to their “Do Better” page, indicating to consumers the low environmental impact behind their favorite products made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™.
The new LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Digital Hangtag is now available to all Lenzing’s licensed partners via the Lenzing E-Branding Service.
